Matches Posted 2003 WCC Cricket World Cup | Round 9 - Niue vs Vanuatu @ Napier - A nation's greatest heartbreak...

Well we’ve done our very best so far this tournament and our fate now lies elsewhere to see if we will qualify and where in the group that would be if it were to happen. Couldn’t have asked for much better so far, been clinical throughout just got unlucky vs NZ in the second game but was so close to a perfect 4 games that we can’t complain. Lads should be proud

December 5, Match 29, Canada vs Wales @ National Ground, Hakupu (normal)

December 10, Match 35, Canada vs Bermuda @ Kauehi Cricket Oval, Liku (excellent)
December 14, Match 39, India vs Saudi Arabia @ Falehau Cricket Field, Hikutavake (excellent)

Since we already know these 3 matches are going to be washout, final Group C standings:
  • India (8 points)
  • Bermuda (5 points)
  • Canada (5 points)
  • Wales (4 points)
  • Saudi Arabia (4 points)
Canada must be second spot since Bermuda won against Wales but lost against Saudi Arabia, compared to Canada who won against Wales but didn't play Saudi. Even with NRR, Canada will be ahead.

What if weather get better during Canada vs Bermuda and Bermuda win a 30 overs match? Or 2 match get wash out and India rest there best players against Saudi and Saudi win that game?...

Only if WCC paid the full amount for our stadiums. All our stadiums are capable of handling thunderstorms, they have retractable roofs but WCC cheapened out and only paid for the normal ground services.

Our money installed seats into those meadows you called "stadiums".
