The sign-ups for the European qualifiers will be officially open from tomorrow i.e 24 March 2017 at 16:00 GMT (3:00 AM AUS, 5:00 AM NZST, 4:00 PM BST, 5:00 PM CET, 6:00 PM SAST, 7:00 PM AST/KSA, 9:00 PM PST, 9:30 PM IST, 10:00 PM BDT; for more time zones, visit this site) in accordance with the PlanetCricket server time (keep refreshing the list of online members & view the topmost member/guest/bot's activity for the correct server time). Any claims made before the official starting time, even by the narrowest of margins, shall be considered invalid. Here are some basic things to keep in mind before signing up:
- Sign-ups are to be on a first-come-first-serve basis. This means if you're the first to post your interest in managing a particular team, you'll get that team.
- Each person is allowed to manage a maximum of 2 teams each, and in very special cases 3 teams. It isn't compulsory to manage that many, but it would be greatly appreciated because the number of teams participating outnumbers the number of active managers in the leagues section two to one at the very least.
- You're not allowed to manage more than one of the top 16 teams ranked according to this post and below. If you're signing up with two teams, you'll need to take one ranked 1-16 and one ranked 17-38 under your wing. There is no such issue if you're signing up with two teams (or more) ranked 17-38.
- No co-managers allowed. I've already made things a thousandfold easier by displaying players' overall abilities using colored orbs to save you the trouble of having to find it out on your own. Managing one of the several available teams by yourself is the least you can do for me in return. People signing up as co-managers will have their signups rejected.
- The overall quality of the players in each squad is determined by colored orbs. Players with a purple orb (
) are by far the strongest of the lot, followed by gold (), silver (), bronze () and blue () in descending order.- The players in each squad are listed in the following order: Opening batsmen, top-order, middle-order, lower-order, tailenders (pace) and tailenders (spin). This should give you a fair idea of what roles to give them while posting lineups.
- Basically, all you have to do as a team manager is trim your preliminary squad down to 15 players at first, post lineups within a 96-hour window when required, and occasionally comment on your team's performances if you feel inclined to do so. That's hardly as tasking as some of the other leagues currently running on the site. If you still need any help from my side, feel free to ask.
- You get to retain your qualified teams for the 2019 World Cup tournament, if life permitting I'm actually able to take it that far.

You can only select one of Republic of Irelend, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Denmark, Greece, Croatia, Jersey, Guernsey, Belgium, Hungary or Malta if you're interested in managing two teams. Your second team has to be from one of the other remaining countries as listed on this post.
