5 Star Idea For A New Editor

Another major let down in Cricket 2004 was the batsman's stance. It looks like he's been hit by a googlie one too many times. With the Animation Editor we must alter this stance to make it look realistic. Early screenshots of Brian Lara International Cricket show a perfect stance, we need to recreate that.

Its not just replacing the animations, first of all you will need to figure out the animations file format and where they are used. I belive there will be few hundreds of them and I don't think I can figure out the animation file format either. I hope that someone else figures it out.

hi prakash....well i in ur field editor we had an option to set as to which type of animation should a field have.....i.e, slip, close-in, or outfield.

we need the same thing. maybe u can find some EXTRA unused animations for shots, bowling action,etc and we can swap them with the default ones.

But here I am afraid we cant use the "Winner",as it really is very difficult.

It's more that we don't have the specialist skills required. If my life depended on it I'm sure I could learn them but for the sake of editing a few animations in C2k4 I'm not going to put the rest of my life on hold.

Few *.anm parameters explained!

Hi Guys!,

After analysing these files, i found few params, any idea?

1. KeyTime (may be the instance!, for eg: player stance variation)

2. SlideParameter (What the jerk it is?, how the player jerks?, LoL:-})

3. OffsetDistance ( may be the Starting Position covered by the player)

4. DeltaDist (All axis distance variation!)

4. A XYZ axis ( It's all where the player ends up for a particular instance!),

Trying to analyse by putting more values!, let see what'll happen?, any help in this reg is app!
