5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

This Warne masterclass is brilliant to watch, Beer and Waller must be loving it. I'm not even a leg-spinner, and I could listen to Warne talking about it all day. I love the way he's just running up and putting the ball exactly where he wants it still. Getting it to turn a mile. Nice to see a few young English leggies around as well. Already got Rashid getting wickets and now we've got these 2 and then then there's another isn't there, Borthwick? Can't quite remember.

That was fantastic. I like Will Beer alot, still think he's got abit of an annoying face, but he seems like he wants to learn and develop his game, which is a far cry from the likes of Panesar who was just happy bowling the same old stuff. Waller's got some good potential as well, so it'll be really interesting to see how they develop and how successful they become, I'd probably back Beer to be more successful, seems more confident and was bowling those deliveries nicely. Great signs for England.

Yeah I watched it on a stream. Some good tips which I might use going into the season coming up. Especially the thing about opening a batsmen up and then going around the wicket. Can't bowl a flipper but might have to try that one when you bowl a wide one and then bowl it in the same place but make it a wrong un.

Which was the guy who wasn't in the maroon shirt? He looks like a pretty good bowler. Was landing it well. The other guy seemed a bit nervous.

Ch4 variety was better quality imo.

That was Will Beer. Plays for Sussex. I've been impressed by his bowling alot this season whenever I've seen him. Just the little cough thing he does before bowling that annoys me :p Totally agree about Waller though, he looked incredibly nervous, bowled alright though, only the flipper came out badly for him.

Colly drops Ponting. Trottski would have snaffled that one.

Still chances aplenty. I agree with Bumble that the crowd ought to be getting behind England more.

We need someone else to step up here; apart from Broad and Swann our bowlers have been toothless.

Finally a 100 partnership between the two players that were considered our key players but have gone MIA for most parts.

How good was that ball. Go it to kick up off the pitch a ball after it had slowed down. Great nut.

Broad may have the girlish looks but he's a damn good cricketer.

My mate keeps texting me and saying this game's in the bag. I don't know how people can be so calm and positive in these circumstances! :(

Ponting moaning to the umpire again and succeeds in getting Broad warned. He was fielding the ball the first time and wasn't on the pitch the second time.

Expect quite a few more of them. Ponting riding his luck here, could have chopped onto his stumps the ball before that.

Probably because we're not all pessimistic twats like you ;) They will not chase 546 on a pitch like this.

Howsie, think if Broad does it again he'll be pulled out of the attack. The official warning is like the final warning, one more offence and you're out of there.
