Welcome to the IPL PC Style - It's Twenty20! Yes, this is back and this time it will be much better and more exciting as we bring to you the shortest format of the game. The competition will consist of 12 franchises who will battle it out for the glorious IPL PC Style T20 trophy. The team owners will be selected from amongst those PlanetCricket members who sign up for the same. It will not be first come first serve basis. However, newer and experienced managers both will be preferred.

The franchise teams will comprise of a total 16 players. Each team will have 10 Indian players plus 6 Overseas players. The players will be picked via drafts. There will be separate drafts for the Indian and Overseas players. The playing XI will have to have at least 7 Indians in it. So, if you can be active enough to pick your 16 player team via drafts and then post the lineups for each round, please sign up. Mention which city based franchise are you interested in as a sign up. Only mention the city because the team names will be accepted only after the owners are finalized by me.

This league will be simulated using Kshitiz's CS09. It's a T20 only simulator and the one which I prefer over the others present here. Thank you.

The stadium has hosted 2 One Day International (ODI) (actually 3 matches but 1 washed out because of Rain) matches including one from the 1996 Cricket World Cup Kenya v Zimbabwe. The stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000 people. It is used for cricket and association football.

The stadium was previously known as 'Rajendra Nagar Stadium' was renamed in 1970 after the death of icon Moin-ul-Haq, who was general secretary of Indian Olympic Association (IOA), India's chef-de-mission of the Indian Olympic contingent in 1948 to London and in 1952 to Helsinki, and one of the founding vice-presidents along with K A D Naoroji of the Bihar Cricket Association, in the year 1936 at Jamshedpur, then part of Bihar.

Ground Information

It was a state-of-the-art stadium in India with modern seating, equipment and facilities for players and spectators alike.

But as the stadium is being neglected by the arrogant BCCI ( or N Srinivasan) when it comes to hosting of international match because of problem between the Bihar Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India., it has become totally outdated (more after the Indian Premier league emerged and other stadiums became Up-To-Date).

After Jharkhand was carved out of Bihar, Bihar lost its Ranji Trophy team. So, no Ranji Trophy matches are even held here.

The stadium features a swimming pool and a cricket academy.

It has a “Turf” pitch that follows the international standard.
