Seems this has been resolved as I did nothing, didn't update anything either and the game is working perfectly fine.

Well, its been couple of days since I played the game and yesterday I came across this thread and was curious if this has happened with me as well. Just now when I tried to load the game, I ended up with the error reported above. Few members have reported that the game is working fine for them now. But I'm still facing that issue. It would be highly appreciated if someone comes up with what he/she has done to get rid of this issue.
