The CFAS are yet to announce any plans for a domestic structure for their cricket, which means they will have to most likely rely on talent scouts selecting players from villages on the island of Tutuila where the sport has been mostly confined to. Their addition comes as a boost for the Confederation of Oceanian Cricket (CONOC) in their efforts to popularize the sport in the continent, which received a massive setback with Australia's shock exit and consists of just four member nations not counting American Samoa. It remains to be seen if a nation with under 50,000 people most famous for making Saul Goodman a lawyer, and losing 31-0 to Australia in football's most embarrassing rout can make something of this new sport.
