Something like this? There are 3 different teams. As an example, maybe the human batting sides could be Mark (England), Insomniac (Pakistan) and me (India)?

ODI Tournament in India

1st ODI – Sri Lanka v England - Kolkata

2nd ODI – Pakistan v England (D/N) - Kolkata

3rd ODI – Pakistan v India - Mumbai

4th ODI – India Vs Sri Lanka (D/N) - Mumbai

5th ODI – England v India - Delhi

6th ODI – Pakistan v Sri Lanka - Delhi

Final – TBC v TBC - Kolkata

Yeah, that was just an example. Your choices of team and venues are all open for discussion.

Sounds OK to me. And if he hasn't got his PS3 yet, we could always assign him as an AI team for this tournament. So, whenever you play England, just play through both innings.

Venues up for debate, but each team plays at home once, away once, and at a neutral venue once. Or just play the entire tournament in England?

This looks good. England can be completely controlled by the AI, and will now be known affectionately as "Dutchy's team"

We can construct a points table. After each team has completed their 3 matches, run rates will also be taken into consideration, if required, to determine who will be in the final. This is how photo evidence of the completed matches (i.e. the Match Summary) will help us fill out the points table.
