It's not about that though. A 200 would require a lot of class which is why I feel a Tendulkar would have a better chance. He's been up there a handfull of times already which is good evidence. Tendulkar can hit the ball, but he's much better at staying in and getting the singles, twos etc as well as boundary hitting. Much better head on his shoulders.

Dilshan doesn't have a chance. He's not classy enough. Players like Tendulkar. Sehwag and Gayle have the best chance.

If Dilshan doesn't have a chance and hes not classy enough then neither does Sehwag. Almost the same cricketers in ODIs.

I think the best chance someone has got is in New Zealand, small grounds and you don't lose as much as energy as you would in the sub-continent as the weather generally is a lot more cooler than the sub-continent.

I reckon Tendulkar would've got quite near here had he not retired.

I'd say he woulda got it. Part of me was gutted when he retired.

Smaller grounds mean more boundaries but less 2's and 3's so it's not that much easier to score runs. Less fatigue would be a big plus.

Tendulkar is by far the most skilled batsmen IMO, I'll give that to the Indian's but I'm afraid he probably isn't that suicidal batsmen like Warner that would be the only chance of getting a double century.

8th of February 2010 is when an ODI double century will be scored. Brendon McCullum at his home ground. I'll be there and I'll tell yous all about it.
Well he scored a T20 100 at the same ground today, so I say he's on track ;)
