Andrew Strauss vs Simon Katich

I'd actually say Katich has played several important knocks since his return. At the Gabba in the first game of the summer, and also the summer before against NZ. Plus, he played well in India and also SA when we needed him.

Another difference is Strauss lifts his game while playing for Eng, while Katich's record decreases significantly.

Part of that would be due to his early stage where he was batting 6. But of late he hasn't been converting his starts like he did for NSW where he averaged a 100 for the season and even scored a triple 100. For some reason the Aussie team makes him a bit more loose.
