Another config editor question

I am trying to find the stroke file that deals with the blocking of the yorker length delivery. Is it listed as part of Prakash's config editor or, as has been suggested in another post, are there still stroke files yet to be found?

Is there a list of what each of the stroke files definately does? e.g. I can only identify 3 of the 6 forward defensive files listed in the game.

Thanks in advance.

Thats the problem...its a matter of trial and error...there are so many defensive shots that it would be very difficult to tell which is which....

This is what I have so far. I have taken each one in turn and increased the power so that when it appears, it goes for 4. I have currently identified:

Forward def 1: Angled bat with the animation coming quite late.

Forward def 5: Standard text-book forward defensive.

Forward def 6: Last minute chop down of the bat. Similar to the yorker one, but played from a good length.

Numbers 2, 3 and 4 still have the "super power" on, even on the 6-hit settings, but have not appeared yet during my current game. (I am in for a shock at some point - maybe for the Nasser Hussain Lawnmower shot :D ). The yorker-length block has appeared many times recently both for me and the cpu, and the ball has behaved normally.

I have tried these for all bowler types for both human and cpu.

I have also tried setting high power for every shot in the config editor where the ball is pitched up in the shot selection (Ball Length 2 and also Ball length 3 [pitches anywhere]) and still the yorker block behaved normally.

At the moment, I am out of options. Are there any other shots tha you know of that I have not listed that I should try?

Wow...I never figured out what those mean. Thanks for that!

I am no expert with the shots,so I cant help much here :(

But I have a holiday today,so I can experiment alot :)

Excellent - the more the merrier.

Here are some edge ones. I'm not 100% sure of these...

Edit: Edge fast2 - edge to all front foot straight bat shots? Certainly an edge to a straight drive.

Edit: Edge fast3 - edge to all short pitched off side shots? Certainly to the cut shot.

Edit: Edge fast4 - edge to leg side shots? Certainly to the hook shot.

These are some others posted by Zimrahil in another thread

batpad(Spin) - everyone moans that its easy to take wickets with spinners with the ball popping up in the air for easy close in catches. This is the file to alter to stop this from happening. In crease the vertical values

backdef1 - the main stroke used for backward defensive strokes

backdef2 - this stroke is only played by tail enders. It the animation used for fending the short ball out side off stump

backdef4 - this stroke is only played by tail enders. It the animation used for fending the short ball thats going to hit the batman (takes one hand off bat)

backdef(spin) - backward defensive stroke used against spinners

cover drive (Def) - this is the elegant looking cover drive stroke with the high elbow finish

cover drive (Attack) - this is the uglier more attacking cover drive stroke

straight drive (main) - this is the elegant looking straight drive stroke with the high elbow finish

straight drive 3 - this is the uglier looking straight drive stroke

Hook 1 - this is the main hook stroke animation

on drive 3- this is the elegant looking ondrive stroke

on drive 1 - this is the uglier looking on drive stroke

Excellent - have started to do the same. Will post more when I identify them.

If you find any errors, or can confirm any that I'm not 100% certain of, please let me know. Hopefully between all us modders, we can come up with the full list.

Still can't find the yorker block though... :help

My quest continues.

havent had any luck editing values John are you sure edgefast2 is for spin edges?

Oops! Have made a mistake in post #5. Will edit that post now! Edgefast2 seems to be for front foot shots from all bowler types. All other edges seem to be for all bowler types as far as I can determine.
