Anybody else a fan of Train Simulators?

I love playing around with Microsoft Train Simulator. Lovely game. I installed many "Indian" patches for this game and can now drive around Indian locomotives (electric and diesel). Lovely game, some might find it a bit boring, but I really like it's route designer (which is a bit like a Golf course designer, but for train routes).

Great game. Lacks excitement but in its own way is very involved if you are a fan of trains.

Who else loves these games?

it would be better than those plane sims a very scary thing i just remembered when i was like 7 i played that and ran into the twin towers

I like simulations, especially flight simulation. (Love the online feature in FS X) I've played Train Simulator, but as soon as I found out you couldn't derail your train no matter how fast you drove, I sold it to a friend (Who probably sold it too by this time...and so on). Give me an airplane, but you're not the only one who likes (boring?) simulations...

Airplanes are the best sims, the only good train is densha de go, but its only in japanese

Train simulators are only good for manipulating the timetables in order to create a massive train crash. Comparable to school Chemistry where the only fun part is creating explosions.

Never played a train simulator but I don't mind other sims like Flight simulator
