hey, just wanted to know if anyone had taken a hat-trick playing on cricket 2004, its my first day playing it and i took one with darryl tuffey, playing against the west indies in a ODI on a normal pitch

Gayle 16 - C mccullum B tuffey

Lara 0 - B tuffey

Sarwan 0 - C bond B tuffey

needless to say i was quite proud! id really like to hear about anyone elses exploits playing cricket 2004, i think it is really interesting hearing about what people have done on the game ^_^

i have had it dne to me by the computer, from stuart macgill, Hussain caught on the boundary for around 30, then Thorpe, whilist blocking caught by slip then Flintoff caught by short leg, i wasnt happy,

closest i came was i got two, then the umpire didnt give the most obvisous lbw, again i want happy

ive done a bout 10, it's pretty easy (compared to actual cricket), especially when the players who are next are the same handed, i just do the same delivery again, and it works.

i also had 1 by anil kumble against aus
by bowling 3 flippers
1 was lbw 2 of them caught

I've had a couple. It annoys me that there's no commentary for it...
Yeah I've had heaps of hat tricks. There is commentary for it, just not all the time. Like the double ton commentary line and the triple ton commentary line and the 10 wicket innings commentary line, it doesn't occur all the time.
Richie Benaud says "And that's a hat trick for ___"

I also had a hatrick while playing against india...
first sehwag for a duck then tendulkar and finally ganguly

i got a hat-trick with kumble against pakistan n a few with my own player. its a bit easy getting hat-tricks with spin bowlers

Ive got one with Stuey Macgill for News South Wales vs Queensland

All caught in short leg its 2 easy with spinners :cheer:

I've had a hatrick by Harbhajan Singh against Pakistan (hard mode) Abdul Razzaq, Mohd. Sami and Shoaib Akthar in a test match.

What i hate is when i get a hat trick, and the commentary doesn't even get real excited at all. Poor job EA

And that's a hat trick for...

wow they get really excited.

It's the same for a triple century "And there's his triple century", and for 10 wickets in an innings "....has taken his 10th wicket, that's an amazing achievement".
Stupid thing is, they only say it about 1/4 times it happens, so most of the time these achievements go unrecognised.

The thing is... that's pretty much the way ol' Benaud commentates.... that's why i say there should be authentic commentators for regions.... (not to mention authentic umpires! Instead of all white ppl!)

in cricket 97ATE he's a bit more emotional.... with an expression on his face and all
