If those 2 were in charge the England team would be:

Joe Denly
Alastair Cook
Ian Bell
Kevin Pietersen
Dawid Malan
Andrew Flintoff
James Foster
Stuart Broad
Adil Rashid
Amjad Khan
Saj Mahmood

They're the kings of over-hyping county players. How on earth Saj Mahmood is in contention for an England place is beyond me. He had an average record last year, and should be nowhere near the England team. Malan was also massively hyped by those 2 after his hundred in the Twenty20 cup. It's like they here something positive about a player and then take it to the extreme. Amjad they claim has fantastic pace and swing, he has swing, but pace? He's about the same pace as Harmison was at the ARG, around 84-85mph, he'd be the slowest of the current England pacers, both Jimmy and Broad are pacier from what I've seen.

Well India just can't go fully South...

Well, Southies were getting no chance at all. Don't tell me Badrinath should not have been called up before ohsospecial iamfrommumbai automaticselection Rohit Sharma. There is a definite bias versus South Indians. If it isn't a bias against the South Indians it is a definite love affair with everyone but them. Same thing in the end. We're given a much shorter leash. Only Dravid and Kumble have persevered and that is because they were just too good to drop. I'm not asking India to go all South but there are some players, past and present who have been extremely unlucky. Just to name a few- Sridharan Sharath, Sridharan Sriram, Subramaniam Badrinath.

Ok I agree but I feel Rahane who's from Mumbai deserves his place much more than Vijay,Mukund and co.

Maybe, but he sure as hell doesn't deserve it more than Badrinath. Rahane has done it for two seasons. Badri has done it time and time again. Besides, Rahane isn't competing with Vijay and Mukund. He plays at #3.

Australian selectors are officially worse. Just when I thought they were smarting up with a great squad to tour South Africa, they stuff up their team selection. First they pick "Mr. Average" McDonald ahead of McGain for the first test because it's not spinning, and now they've decided to go unchanged despite two of our three frontline bowlers being under injury clouds, so now if one of them goes down our attack consists of Johnson, Siddle or Hilfenhaus and McDonald with no frontline spinner to take the workload off Johnson (which is why they were under injury clouds in the first place).

This is in addition to the fact that we picked two spinners in our squad yet are playing neither. As if they haven't learnt from their mistake with Krejza, they want to repeat it with McGain.
