Armed Assault Gold Edition

The only reason I haven't bought Armed Assault yet is because of the amount of bugs mentioned in PC Gamer's review, they completely put me off the game. However, I've heard that most of these have been squished in the Gold Edition (as well as coming with the expansion pack). Anyone have it and if so, is this accurate?
