ASIA CUP 2002

Members of the Asian Confederation of Nations, it has been conveyed to me that HawkAussie prefers to step away from duties of being the President of this confederation. Which leaves the fate of the upcoming Asia Cup, as well as the T20 tournament at the South Asian Games in limbo. In order to have both or either tournaments take place, Asian members need to appoint a new President to run the confederation. If no President is appointed and the tournaments aren't confirmed, there will be no Asia Cup or Cricket at the South Asian Games tournaments conducted.

Jay Shah is ready to dominate Asia...

The Chinese Cricket Association at this time has no intentions to assume authority over the Asian Cricket Council. We will back whichever fellow member board who is interested in taking over the council and that is looking like the CBI at this stage.

That and the CCA has its own internal power struggles how the hell are we supposed to run this?
