Hello and a warm welcome to all the the ladies and gentle men who are here with us at Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur (Dhaka). After a month of fantastic cricket, now it is time to crown the winners of Asian Premier League. Both the teams have been fabulous in all the departments and have thus paid off. A wonderful evening to have cricket and all the crowd is eagerly waiting to enjoy this delightful evening of at Dhaka. At first we'll have Pitch Report and then toss will come up. The crowd is too noisy here and without wasting anytime, we'll go at the pitch to find out what does it say.
Pitch Report
A spectacular sunny and hot day out here at Bangladesh. A beautiful looking pitch here at Mirpur. A batsman's paradise and bowlers will be severely hammered here. I don't see any chances of bowlers getting an upper hand. Both the sides are well equipped with some amazing and well-talented batsmen so there shouldn't be any problems for either of the teams. We can see some cracks in the surface and so Ganguly tells us that there might be some spin on the track. However he also states that the possibility for spin is too low. Pace Bowlers have nothing to do here but can bowl at right areas to produce some miracle. I guess, the team who will win the toss will surely elect to bat first. 280+ won't be a defentable total so batting side has to produce 300+ runs in order to get the things moving in their favour.
This was all regarding the pitch. We've got Mike Atherton now with both the captains for the crucial toss.

We've experienced a top class season of cricket in form of Asian Premier League. All the teams looked equally good till the end. All the players from the teams gave their best to provide their team as much as they could. But at last it was a thrilling battle between Mumbai and Hyderabad. Both the Indian Franchises fought to prove their superiority. Hyderabad Hawks tried their best but Mumbai Dominators dominated the game and finished off the season as winners.
I would first like to thank all the managers who had always supported Prats and all the other followers of this league who has contributed to make this one a grand success.

That was all about the Presentation ceremony in the inaugural season of Asian Premier League. We had a great time with all the players who kept entertaining us and were a great source of entertainment indeed. The first season ends here but it is not over yet.
