Marsh is injured don't know how long for but I hear it is the series. Ponting could be rested for the rest of the series, the selectors want to rest him for 3 matches.

I don't understand why the captain of a team is rested, when his team is 0-1 down. If he wanted to take rest he should have done at the fifth ODI against Australia. And was this already known before the start of this series? Because I didn't see any mentioning about it on cricinfo.

What are you talking about? Review your scores, Bracken got 73 points, Mills got 119 and Mills as a BP an additional 20 points, so no error was made in that regard, just take a look at your scores again.
