Australian Domestic Cricket

mmmm Good last over of powerplays for Victoria. Before that they hadn't made good use of he powerplay. It seems reasonably even at the moment.

Go Birdy, bowling with good control and hes using his slower balls better. Rogers didn't help Victoria's batting much.

Ewww 19 run over. Not good for NSW. 150 looks on the cards. Another over like that and it'll be more though. NSW need wickets to slow it. Simple as that.

Quiney - 7 sixes. Wow. What a knock. Can make a hundred. NSW need him out.

Quiney is on fire, and what a hit by McDonald perfect time for him to be producing this knock with Hopes not going as well in the national side.

Quiney in at 7 for Australia hello! Ok probably written off White too early but it's been a while since I've seen him do anything like this.

OUT. But what an innings. Better late then never. 91 with 8 sixes. Will be hard to top.

Maybe we should have put McCullum at keeper. Were two balls which I reckon he could have stopped or in the last case caught.

Great knock by Quiney, we have given Victoria a hell of a lot with Nannes in their attack.

166. Seems an above par total but not unreachable by any means. Could have a real thrilling chase if NSW start well.

Great innings by Quiney, I said before the game that he was our biggest hope and what an innings it was. He is the sole reason we got a decent total. Fantastic innings, great to see Bollinger give him a send off after he got belted by Quiney the previous over, as if it was his wicket.

Additionally, I must add that Daniel Smith just looks fatter every time I see him.

If New South Wales don't win this game I will laugh very hard - it'd be a massive choke given the position they were in, the advantage they have over us (no Hodge, Hussey, White and their Kiwi advantage).

Quiney>Warner. You know it's true.

Thank god McCullum finally got one away. :)

btw mccalum will final he wont see nannes like everyone else. nannes is the best paceman of the 21st century.

He's coming down the track at him according to cricinfo. He can't be very fast. Not enough pace for McCullum.

Ehhhh. Out to Harwood. That's a shame. Run a ball 10 isn't horrible.

McCullum shoulda stood his ground (going by what they wrote on cricket australia website about the umpire not giving it until McCullum walked). I wouldn't be walking after the shocker he got in the test against the West Indies which sounded in a similar manner. He wouldn't have walked if it was for NZ. :P

Sadly I did see that happening, karma striking back at NSW. Still did alright, certainly is good to have Hughes back.

Well yeah, can't expect a guy to just walk into a new environment and blitz it everywhere. That's the risk they took and sadly for them it hasn't really paid off enough.

In saying that, they got off to a good start and Katich is keeping it up. Hughes is matching Quiney though at the moment. If they don't get Hughes out soon, Victoria will lose.
