Australian Domestic Cricket

I'm guessing we talk about the JLT Cup here?

The Cricket Australia Pathways Program is flawed in its effort to prepare Australia's best young cricketers for a First Class career. Up until they begin Premier Cricket all these young cricketers play are white ball formats. Is it any wonder then that some of them do not have the technique needed to survive the immense pressure of top class red ball cricket. A prime example is Blues teen Jack Edwards. A man with an astute cricket brain former Test captain Kim Hughes pointed out Edward's diabolical technique in the JLT Cup match yesterday. Prior to meeting the ball the youngster moves his back leg deep into his crease and well to the leg side exposing his off stump. There has been no attempt by his junior coaches to get him behind and over the ball at the point of contact. With that technique he is always playing away from his body. This is unforgiveable CA and must be addressed asap.

The Blues have played two and lost two yet they retain the blokes that have let down the side in wayward Sean Abbott, Mr Nude SOK and Moie the man who has forgotten how to score runs. Where are the Blues next gen.. namely Sangha, Fallins and Nair? Abbott, Edwards, Dwarhuis, Henriques and SOK.. this must be the weakest attack in the JLT. When are we going to produce a competent death bowler?

Baffled why the Bulls v Tigers match was not televised by Fox. Was it live streamed? It turned out to be a thriller.. rare in this format. Good to see Lynnsanity getting early season runs. He is a must for our national 20 & 50 over sides. Former Bull Ben McDermott stole the show for the Tigers with a beligerent ton with excellent support form the enigmatic Jordan Silk. It was another former Bull Simon Milenko who supplied the late fireworks to get the Apple Islanders across the line.

Simon Milenko and Ben McDermott will get ODI call up very soon. Utility players for limited overs cricket.

Every game not televised by fox has been live-streamed on their site (CA), Facebook and YouTube.

Daniel Sams is becoming an all-rounder day by day. Good news for Sixer's fan.

Great knock by veteran Cameron White. What a player!
Certainly was. The Big Bear has lost nothing with age. Still one of the sweetest strikers of a cricket ball. Another poor bowling performance by the Blues. All their wickets were gifted. We need some bowlers who can contribute with the bat..ala Daniel Sams.

Drat. You mean I missed the live stream. Looked a better match than the one I watched on the box. Are we enjoying the add-free coverage by Fox? Shame the Shield wont be covered.

I want him playing and improving his red ball cricket.

Fizz?

IPL contact will make him mature. He will be easily rope in CSK side, if Thunder Coach Fleming like him. Sams is the find of last year BBL. Red ball cricket is totally diffrent. I think right now Langer need to devolop Mitchell Marsh. Sams need to work on his fitness for baggygreen. Right now he is perfect for white ball cricket and he has that X Factor .

Nick name of Mustafizur Rehman given by SRH captain and his team mate David Warner. Sam's bowls lots of cutter and slower one with accuracy.
