Australian Domestic Cricket

Namely Lloyd Pope I'm guessing? Who else is coming through the ranks?

I started following his career sporadically when he first started playing cricket as a 17 year old and for a while I thought he'd totally vanished until he made his JLT Cup debut. He's signed for Perth Scorchers too so he's slowly beginning to carve a foothold for himself down under by the looks of things.
Pope is one. Two names you may have not heard of are both leggies as well. Daniel Fallins.. a 2018 National Performance Squad scholar plus Devlin Malone. If memory serves me this kid took a First Grade Premier Cricket 8 for as a 17 year old. Another is off spinner Arjun Nair. He also bowls the Ashwin Carrom Ball.

The Iceman George Bailey has steered his Tassie Tigers into the JLT Final. This man is a class act. Never gets flustered despite the position of the game. I want him to captain our ODI WC defence next year.

Our Test attack need to be bowling four day red ball cricket if fit. Hello CA that is Shield not Futures League[DOUBLEPOST=1539129056][/DOUBLEPOST]
The Tigers will play the Vics in Wednesday's final after Blues discard Nic Maddinson and Test discard Pete Handscomb combined to sink the Bulls.
You may find full state contract squads listed early in the thread. I seem to recall posting them.

I wanna see Hazlewood and Cummins rested from limited overs to concentrate on Test cricket. England has a separate ODI attack to its Test attack that has worked for them. we should do the same. My ODI/T20 attack would be Mitchell Starc, Andrew Tye, Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa and Jhye Richardson.

You need specialist bowlers in limited overs. Why cant CA see this.

Cameron White is doing it again. If only he had have been more consistent he would have basked in the spotlite of one very stellar career.

The "guru" Gurinder Sandhu seems to have a new lease on life down in Tassie. The tall right armer has smashed the Vics to the tune of a lazy 7/56.
Is this a record haul for a ODD final?

Veteran Tassie Tiger George Bailey has called for a return to the old format of playing the ODD concurrently with Shield cricket. Bailey cannot be accused of making his judgments in hindsight, having criticised the tournament format in 2013, the first year in which it was shunted to the front end of the season. "I like the balance of last year and the spread of one-day and Shield cricket,"
"This is a tournament style set-up".Bailey said at the time.

I totally to agree with him. Reckon George would know as he is one of the best limited overs players this country has produced. CA should acknowledge this and choose him in the upcoming WC.
