Actually, I read some stupid (yet true ) joke on that very same weather the other day....what do you do when you really can't stand the Melbourne weather? Wait ten minutes! (I know, it's sad) Co-incides with the four seasons in one day expression, though..
Anyway, interesting signing, with the league now less than a month away.

Yeah,but really we've had rain only twice this winter...yet it's been icy cold.Though last Sunday it was boiling hot before my footy match,yet when i got on it started to hail,and rained until our game was finished.Now that is weird!~

It's been an interesting Pre-Season, the Knights have improved. Shaping up to be a cracking Season 2, esp. with ACL spots up for grabs.

Yorke is the only decent player their imo unless i've missed someone out.. alll australia national players are mostly based in europe and if not i think they'll get snapped up by a european team after a good performance at the World Cup.

By decent, I think he's implying that there aren't any other absolute class players, aside Yorke of course. Yes, Thompson is a quality player, but not of the same breed as the great Trinidadian.

Anyway, it would've been an awesome match, and a good victory for the Victory....they do look like a huge threat this season, rivalries aside. 'Crowd was a few hundred off 40,000; not bad at all. Did anyone see Buari's strike to clinch it for NZ? Unbelievable!

Yeah... : You see Mark Milligan drop to the ground a few seconds after Fred was past him?!And some of the tackles on our boys weren't pretty either.Well hopefully we'll do alot beter this year,as we have arguably the best squad out there.

Good to see Melbourne Victory come to their senses and move 6 of the remaining 8 games to Telstra Dome. While they have to compensate Olympic Park for breaking the contract, it will only be a drop in the bucket now that they don't have to turn away fans like last week.

I'm a bit cut with the reserved seating though. I paid $80 on top of my student membership ($75) to get a reserved seat at Olympic Park - which was pretty good.

They've put aside the left wing lvl 1 at the Dome for Gold Reserved seating. WITHOUT an allocated seat. They've reserved that area off, but once you get in there - it's first in, best dressed. Okay for someone like me who rocks up an hour before kickoff, but those who turn up at the last minute and paid for reserved seats are left with the crumbs of the good seats.

Bit silly.
