Australian Premier League XIII

Well he has a very generous batting rating considering his average/SR in List A Cricket and very close to the best bowling rating. He also has a much better bowling rating than Shakib, so I have no idea why Shakib bowled out but Vettori only bowled 4 overs.

I don't mind his poor batting as it was a poor pitch, but he is yet to preform in over one and a half seasons with the ball, surely you must see where I'm coming from though.

We are well beyond our best, working with four overseas batsmen would have done it.
Anil Kumble isn't showing any form and would be dropped for next match, my chances for semifinals are nearly over now.

I do, you did name 7 bowlers this round, which shouldn't really affect much, but to get full use of your best bowlers you should only name 6. As for his performance, it can only be Cricksim being a bitch to him. Look at Shane Warne this season. Last season he took 22 @ 21 from 13 matches.. This season he has taken 5 @ 66 from 8 matches.. While Cameron Boyce (Who dat!? I hear you ask) has taken 14 @ 27 from 8 matches.

I named seven b/c I wasn't sure who was better out of O'Brien and White, I think I'll just go with O'Brien next time.

People work well whenever they have got loving atmosphere:D:D. He WILL rock when he plays for me:D.

HaHa! My batsmen owned Akshay's team. Three half centuries!!

Cricsim is a game of luck really.

It really depends how the ratings are done.

I don't know if it's a good thing or not either way, but in this a lot of DOM players seem to preforms while big names often fail, but in my NZPL I just can't seem to get any NZ DOM players to preform, and most of the INT's go extremely well.

I think it is a good thing, and think others would agree. The way I have set the averages makes it more realistic I think. With players like Nick Kruger, and Aiden Blizzard scoring in the 90's last round, as well as unknowns having a good season with the ball, is better than the usual players being predictable and dominating the competition. I like the fact that last season players like Warne and Dhoni had blinders, now they are struggling a bit, while the like of Cosgrove, Swan, Doherty, and Boyce are stepping up. And still not all the big names are failing.. Morgan has had a great season, along with Collingwood, and Cook. So have Rana Naved-ul-Hasan and Murali.

A crucial win there, though not emphatic.
This gives us some momentum after 4 consecutive losses.
Ricky Ponting seems to have found some form while the move to push Roy down the order also worked for us.
Our frontline bowlers were pretty disappointing but this may not cost them their place in the side, thanks to Mitch Johnson's career ending groin injury (:sarcasm)
However, coach Michael Bevan has made it pretty clear that Ross Taylor has had way too many chances and may not have further part to play in this season of the APL.
Jesse Ryder will be the obvious replacement for him.

I'm not sure if you saw but in my original post I said "I don't know if it's a good thing or not either way", hence I never said what's happening here is bad.
I agree with you in most of your points. :)

Yes, I can read lol. I know you never said it was a bad thing, and I never said you did. I was just saying that I thought it was a good thing. :yes

Ok, I didn't know you could read. :sarcasm :p
That's my one problem with NZPL, I just can't get the bloody ratings right.
Most NZ domestic batsmen end up averaging only half of what average I give them. :facepalm
