Anyway, Cairns are in a very strong position now still having both their stratplays in hand. Trott having another good season but I think he likes me a lot more than Chewie and only cause I'm following Cairns is the reason he is still performing reasonably well.


I really don't get Swan though. He is not that great but he has taken 21 wickets @ 17 in 9 matches to go with his 23 wickets @ 20.3 in 11 games last season and just over a wicket a game in the first season.

I have the keeper sign there in my template, just forgot to remove it.

I think it's just luck, Chris Swan is a gun List A bowler, but I have still raised his average a bit, the likes of Murali, Lee, Bracken, Clark, Ryan Harris, Bollinger, Malinga, Kulasekara, Steyn, Broad, McKay, Warne, Flintoff, Vettori, Johnson (just off the top of my head) are all rated better than him, but he just seems to be performing, again.

All international specialist bowlers in the NZPL are rated better than Wagner, and I think all international specialist batsmen in the NZPL are rated better than Williamson.
IIRC the worst international specialist batsmen are rated one better than Williamson, and the worst international specialist bowlers are rated one better than Wagner.

He's only played 13 List A matches, the only country he may be playing for is Bangladesh.
He hasn't even played a List A match this year. :what

Well there probably are, but there are only 64 (+8 SIR) INT cricketers in the NZPL.
Say there's maybe 24 BAT/WK, 20 AR and 20 BWL.
I wouldn't say he's in the top 30 BAT/WK if you include the six best New Zealand batsmen going around.
Same goes with Wagner, I would say the 30 best bowlers in the world including bowling AR's would be better than him.

Pretty much I list every player in order of how I good I think they are, pay little attention to list A/ODI average as 50% of the time that is mis-leading due to a lot of factors.
Then I just move them around until I think the order of players is right, and group players giving them a rating accordingly.

It has nothing to do with his rating or if he's played internaitonal cricket or not, I was just giving hedger an example of how luck plays a part because Swan is the leading wicket taker so far.

It's just that you listed quite a large list of players, and I said surely 95% of INT bowlers would be rated better than him.
