Following the first team management meeting of the season earlier today in Melbourne,also featuring the skipper Cameron White and the team MVP Ryan ten Doeschate,it has been decided that the head coach Michael Bevan's contract will not be renewed.
Bevan and White played a key role in the title win 4 seasons ago but the results in the last couple of seasons have been a bit disappointing and it's time for a few changes.

Gary Kirsten has been appointed as the new coach and will be joining us this weekend.

I'm pretty happy with my squad really, as usual.

I would still like to do a double trade involving Smith and possibly Di Venuto/Rogers, for a (slightly) better domestic batsman than Di Venuto/Rogers, but you can chuck in any random international player you want.

I offered that before the draft though, and no one seemed interested.

Maybe someone who wants a decent international batsman, *looks at bcvs*, but he wasn't really interested before the draft.
