Australian Premier League XIII

Crap. We dominate the whole season to lose to Sydney? Fark. The target was too much in the end, Lee the best bowler through the initial stages was below par, and the rest didnt really do much. Swann and Singh were the only bright spots.

Put up a good fight with a bat, but we needed Maxwell/Allenby/Dhoni or someone else to also make a sizeable contribution. Voges having an off season didnt help either.

Yes but there are better batsman than Blizzard. and Gilchrist did better than Ronchi

Gilchrist played 2 more matches. Ronchi had a slightly better strike rate, average, and scored 1 more fifty. As for Blizzard, he did very well and it was between him and Rogers for the opening spot. I try to play them in spots they played in through out the season.

Now, a big point of discussion is next season. If I'm honest, this is the first season I've really felt like not continuing this at times. I think it's become a bit repetitive for me and I am really keen on trying something new. I personally want to carry this on as a purely Australian players league. Which would mean a brand new set of teams. Some of you may lose interest, while others may enjoy it, and may only be for a season or two, you never know what will happen. Just throwing up ideas at the moment.

Also any new members who are interested please state your interest. Number of teams will obviously drop so I may have to cut some people. Obviously my current managers will get first preference.

i'm interested! will be on every day at some point or another :thumbs

Good move, not only for you,but for me too personally as I appreciate changes.

Weren't you about to do the same (All-Aussie league) when you started this thread, but changed your mind in favour of the current PL model?

Obviously we won't have as many teams (how about multiple co-managers?),but I hope I don't end up in the waiting list. :D

Would prefer Adelaide followed by Melbourne, unless you'll have the states instead in which case,I'll prefer Victoria, hehe.
