Maybe reduce the length of the maximum injury?

Like I've lost a guy for more or less the whole tournament (until round 12). Not that I was really intending to play him, but if that had been someone like Watson I probably would have "throw the towel in".

Tbh I'd even say five rounds is too much, considering that's over a third of the tournament, so guts for you Chewie losing Haddin. :p

Other alternative is no injuries, I am always iffy on injuries and they seem to just annoy everyone rather than make it interesting. So should we restart without injuries? 8 owners give your thoughts. It's only been 1 round and I will rearrange the fixtures so you have different opponents. I know someone like Iridium may not want to because of his big win, but in the long run might make things better.

I reckon just continue on without any new injuries though and get rid of the other injuries. To make it fair, make it each team that didn't have an injury in Round one has one in Round 2 at random.

lol, I just know I'm going to regret this, but I'm happy if you decide to have a restart. Although hedger's suggestion to just get rid of injuries from here on out isn't a bad idea and that teams that didn't have injuries get allocated some for round 2.

I quite like the idea of having injuries (that sound weird). Maybe reduce the length of it like Callum said.

I have no problem with having injuries, but I'd just keep them to 1 - 2 or 3 rounds (or something like that).

Don't take my post before as having a bitch and wanting to restart things up again, I just thought 11 rounds was definitely ott.

Well I've had two of my best players gone to injury so I'm all for a restart but that's rather selfish of me.

They are two pretty important players too; they've meant that I've had to play two particular players in their place. Cosgrove was going to be my sixth bowler but now Bandy has to be, and I have to use Carters as my keeper. Both wouldn't be near the starting XI if other players had been injured.

Bandy is a far better bowler than Cosgrove.

Its harsh to lose a player out to an injury but that happens in real life as well, so I guess we should just deal with it. And my position wouldnt change if I had my best players out. Its unfortunate, but well I guess we should just deal with it.

No, not at all. I thought having injuries might give a chance for the lesser known players to come through but now I have realised that it will happen naturally over the season. I think too injuries is a bit of a burden. Without them I can have all my threads at the SG ready to go so as soon as you see your result you can post your next line-up. Which is quite convenient for me since I am studying and as little work as possible is good right now. I think we will treat that round as a 'warm-up'. Round 1 will be pushed down to later in the season and Round 2 moves up. You will need to post your new Round 1 line-ups again, sorry for the inconvenience.
