A baby has been born with two faces and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess.

There is no need for surgery for LaliBaby Lali has an extremely rare condition where a single head has two faces, meaning she has two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes.

wow, that mad!

I think if the little blighter is well, and has no health problems, then why should she go to a hospital to be prodded and poked. She is an individual, one on her own.

I think its pretty cool to be honest.

There was another one like this a few weeks back a girl called 'Lakshmi' after the Hindu God. She was a siamese twin but the other twin was born without a head. So it looked as is the girl had 6/8 limbs.

Its all to do with how the baby develops, sometimes there are two fetuses, or one developing and another one attaches some way.

Science is bloody confusing but things like this shows that there's still an abundance to learn!

So pretty much 2 people in 1 body? There is also 2 people with 1 body, and they control 1 side of the body each. Maybe it will be the same for this child.

The tree man is sick. Its horrid. All caused by a cut on his knee!

It isn't clear whether the baby has two brains, therefore if she does then its two people, if not, then one person with 4 eyes, two noses and 2 mouths.

Now if she got a cold, imagine how much snot would come out!!!

Probably not, but who knows. Thats what a CT exam would do, it would determine whether she had a normal insides, or whether she doesn't. If she is breathing fine then i suppose she'd have two windpipes maybe.

In the foetus the 'other twin' has simply failed to develop, for whatever reason, genetic, health of mother, etc. Like with the other case where that girl had 2 sets of limbs.

This kind of baby is only likely to survive in places like rural India, Africa, Bangladesh, etc. In a western society (or even cities in India, though you'd imagine not the norm) in early foetal scans the problem would be noticed and the baby would be aborted, because abnormalities normally cause miscarriages and the chance of survival is tiny.

You can't be an individual if you are sharing legs with someone. I can't imagine she'll ever be able to walk if she has two brains, if she did have two brains, chances are one will be dead.

Yup, and of course all double fertilisations will be attached at the initial insemination. I wonder why some don't split up.

I hate when people make fun of people who have these kind of disabilities, and they do that everywhere, stupid people.

Just a opinion, but why would "God" ever come on such a form??
