I saw the match that bangladesh almost won. Had they got 60 or so runs more then pak might have lost. And amir 51, there were only 3 debutants in that match for pakistan. And it wasnt like bangladesh had a very experienced side. Their top scorer in the second innings was Rajin Saleh, playing inly his 3rd test. U cant deny that bangla shoulda won.

There were three debutants in that match.

Apart from Inzamam-ul-Haq, Rashid Latif and Saqlain Mushtaq, the rest of team had debuted in that series.
B) so what even pakistan a side should be able to beat them , [/b]
true, I was just making a point.

Good fight bak by bangladesh after that 107 run 2nd wicket p'ship by zim.

I hope this match will be interesting.

But I think Zimbabwe will win this series after looking at their home performance in the first test vs the Windies.

So much for a day one 3rd session fight bak. Bangadesh just arent good enough. As i said in th ebginning, I think zim will win easily. The bangla supporter can only hope that ban put up a total in excess of 350. But zim r too good to let them slide by. well have to see.

B) zim has better bowlers then india, so i guess they can take 20 wickets in this match, but i have seen these begali players ,they r really good in the first innings, they gave a good fight to pakistan, i hope they do well here.

**UPDATE**

1st Test - Close Of Play - Day Three

Zimbabwe 1st Innings: 441 all out
Bangladesh 1st Innings: 313/9

Mohammad Ashraful unlucky to miss out on a hundred (bowled Streak for 98) and Rajin Saleh out for 49.

I think it will be a tough contest if Bangla bowl well in the 2nd innings.

**UPDATE**

1st Test - Close Of Play - Day Four

Zimbabwe 1st Innings: 441 all out
Bangladesh 1st Innings: 331 all out
Zimbabwe 2nd Innings: 242/8 declared
Bangladesh 2nd Innings: 25/5

Zimbabwe's Andy Blignaut took a hat trick in Bangladesh's 2nd Innings, the first by a Zimbabwean in Tests.

when i saw the target was 353 I had a feeling that zimbabwe may have a few problems in taking 10 wickets. But after that hat trick its over for bangladesh. Habibul Bashar has really failed in batting during his debut as captain.

I dunno if anyone realized, but the last bowler to take a hattrick in tests was Bangladesh's Alok Kapali. But Bashar has really dissapointed in this test.

**UPDATE**

1st Test - Match Over

Zimbabwe 1st Innings: 441 all out
Bangladesh 1st Innings: 331 all out
Zimbabwe 2nd Innings: 242/8 declared
Bangladesh 2nd Innings: 169 all out

Zimbabwe win by 183 runs

Well Dones to Andy Blignaut on the first Hat-Trick for Zim.

How many more tests are there?
