Batting Both Sides

I want to play a single player game where I bat for both sides. I remember with a very old Brian Lara game, I could do this; I batted the first innings, saved the game, then when I load the game again I could choose which side to bat with.

Recently, somehow, I managed to do the same with Cricket 2005. I don't know how I did it, but now I cannot seem to replicate it. Does someone know how to do this?

If what I'm asking is not clear yet, here's another example: I create a ODI game of South Africa vs. Australia. I play with SA. I bat first, the PC is bowling with Australia. After the 50 overs, I save the game and quit. I then load the game again and in stead of bowling with SA against Australia, I want ot be able to bat with Australia and have the PC bowl with South Africa.

Any way to do this? I managed to to this once by mistake, but didn't pay attention to how I did it.

After batting for 50 overs save and quit, now open the game with gamchanger and swap the teams. You should be able to bat again.

Thank you! What is this gamechanger?

Oh, I just found it. Thank you very much!

Features include:

1. Assign your choice of controllers to human and cpu
team. This also
enables cpu v cpu matches or allow cpu to play out
parts of a match

if you wish to take a break and watch the action.
2. Swap teams to play 'online' (play by email)
matches.

3. Select from 14 different pitches (7 main types +
their variations) to
have realistic pitch conditions during a match.
Artificial pitch is also
available.

4. Select Sunny or Overcast weather at any stage of
the game.

5. Ability to set Day, Night option to have accurate
DN matches. Possible to play out final overs of a day
under lights in a test match to make it more
realistic.

6. Ability to set any number of overs per innings (between 10-50)
for odi matches.
