I find when I'm batting that I'm very strong on the offside but hardly score any runs on the legside. I get barely any runs at all between square leg and deep mid off and only a few behind square. I want to drive the ball wide of the man at mid on but I can't seem to do it. Likewise when I try and play the leg glance to midwicket I usually get the one to square leg. Any advice on timing. The other are is in the V between third man and fine leg, the only runs I get there are from edges through the slips. I've got no idea at all how to score runs down to fine leg. These screens show what I mean:

Anyone have any advice?

wow colin, your batting graphs are like the complete opposite of mine. I hook, leg glance, on drive just about anything.

I'd suggest anything full that pitches on middle stump and continuing toward leg slip should be hit with a leg glance. the fuller the ball, the finer it will go down leg. i have hit leg glances in the area where you have scored only 7 runs.

i dont really pay attention as to when to play the shot, but you can leg glance just about anything.

This is a bit of general advice: if you are playing on hard difficulty, the easiest wayh to counteract a yorker is by advancing.
