BCL 2 Structure

There are some changes in the format this season. There are two series. The first being one-day and the other Test. After the OD series, there will be a small trading window in which a maximum of 3 players can be traded.In this Season there are 8 teams which battle it out for the title of BCL II Champion. The 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups of four and then we will have the double-round robin format. Top 2 teams from each group advance to the semis and then the finals

Controversial decision by Chittagong

The Chittagong selection panel have announced the captain of the team will be Mike Hussey and will his Deputy will be young bangladeshi Tamim Iqbal. This was deemed to be a really shocking decision as some players in the squad have a lot of captaincy experience like Dhoni and Vettori, Manager Dipak told that he might change the captain if Hussey underperform with the bat, but will it be too late till then. Hussey told that this a big opportunity for him as a captain and he seems to command his troops pretty well in the training session. Tamim told that he is ecstatic to be the Vice Captain, Vettori told that can Huss can the handle the captaincy pretty well
