Awesome, we might see Glenn Maxwell doing something today. (Y)

This is following the exact blueprint for a cricket season of Shaun Tait;
1. Claim some scalps in OD/T20
2. Get picked for the T20I/ODI squad
3. Do well in the first T20, miss the second with a minor niggle (elbow, knee) which keeps him out of the first ODI.
4. Comes back for the second ODI, gets carted. (0/60ish)
5. Retained for the next ODI, does really well (4/25ish) but gets stress/hairline fractures of his back or hamstring troubles.
6. Exodus.

Rinse and repeat.

Could this be the Tait of old returning? His figures got ruined by some flukely hitting from Hussey.

lol how did Tait get the player of the match award. Pollard scored a 22 ball 52 and got 2 wickets.

The 2 wickets were tailenders so really it was down to Tait's devastating opening spell that ripped Victoria apart or Pollard's saving SA from a big collapse.

I woulda given it to Tait also. He got quality players out (Hodge, White, Hussey, the 3 players who had any chance of getting their side to the total) by ripping Victoria's top order apart. Pollard's 52 was great too. I personally like seeing bowlers given awards because T20 is obviously a batsman's game.

We got owned......

I was wondering about Glenn Maxwell when I went to the Blues game. At first I thought he was a sub fielder, but the he appeared on the batting list! Perhaps he's a pinch hitter? But instead, we could have played Jon Holland.

*'Waits for someone to bring up the KFC ad*

I was impressed with Tait's bowling last night. I don't think he's bowled that well in a fair while.

What was even better though was to see my home state get up against the vics. It usually doesn't happen too often unfortunately.

Pollards wickets were the 2 guys that actually made some runs in the Vics innings. His 50 and Taits 3 wickets were even in contributions and add the 2 wickets and it makes a case for Pollard.

^agree with this. But the thing is, he cracked our order open by getting the 'Big Three' out.

You sure it wasn't Naved?
Hm, yeah, I'm pretty sure, I'm not sure why, it could be because of Mark Waugh yelling "GEEVES HAS A HAT-TRICK"...hm, or it could be because I saw him with my own tweaking eyes taking three wickets in three balls? Not sure.

Ouch. Collision with the stumps and grazed from the ground.

Don't think it was a good call from Third umpire though. Benefit of the doubt shoulda gone to Paine.

:laugh

I was just wondering because CA said otherwise.
