i had this running before and it worked ok but now whenever i try to start it i just get taken back to desktop and then when i try and close it i just get programme not responding, dont know whats gone wrong cos like i said it was workin before.

is the window still visible after u click on the play button, it should'nt be
do u mean that the game doesnt start afterwards.
did u try reinstalling the demo

I made a squad manager allowing people to play as anyone in the demo.

hmm, well i restarted my computer and that seemed to work although it did freeze and stop working late on in the game, i was playing a 50 over game and batted 50 overs then it froze abouth 16 overs into australia's innings when a new batsman came to the crease.

that isnt a problem with the demo expansion coz it terminates 15 seconds after the game starts.so it shouldnt coz the game to freeze

Wow I didnt know that, I havnt been paying attention to the PC stuff as Im having the same problem as the rest...
