btw Matt, just a suggestion with MOTM. Cricsim nearly always gives the MOTM award to a player from the winning side even if a player from the losing side played much better so I would reckon it'd be better if you chose MOTM yourself, if you're not already doing that.

Easier to stick with the sim's opinion then have debates over who deserves it. I could offer bonus bonus points in cases where there's a clear stand out performer on the losing side.

I'd just leave it how it is, there's not really any need to over complicate the system.

Most of the time the cricksim MOTM is realistic, only about 10 - 15% of the time it's unrealistic.

It just happenes about every eigth or tenth match and it only happenes when all the players gave almost equal contribution and they favir wickets over ER ie if aome player has 4 wickets and gives 47 runs in 10 overs hell bo given the MOTM instead f a player who had 3 wickets and gve an odd 20-25 runs

Just a point Matt, that this might need to be changed because 10 overs does not equate to 100 runs in any type of calculation.

If we use 210 as the stock / average score (run rate of 6), then 100 runs would equate to approximately 16 overs and 4 balls (in a 35 over game).

Furthermore, losing by 10 overs would equate to about 60 runs.

Botsofallbots doesn't have any bonus points applied - you can't deduct from the base 5 points. (Obama can lose 5 of the 10 points)
