Buy now? or wait for next game?

Just noticed a 50% discount on Ashes Cricket. I last bought DBC 14 and thought it was fun for a while but haven't played it in years. Is Ashes Cricket truly the best cricket game for PC? Worth purchasing now? Or should I wait for a future, better game? Reviews on this site seem very mixed.

For that price deffo....it has some shortcomings but is easily the best game all round and we could be waiting a while for a next game to be available

Depends on what you want out of the game. If you're a career mode player primarily, do not buy this game. This mode is a disaster. One days are also broken due to the chasing bug. If you're a Test player mostly, I would go ahead with it.

Like Dutch said, definitely at this price.. Just worth for the beautiful animations the game has.. You can enjoy if you could play around with gameplay modifiers to suit to your taste..

Game is a steal at this price .I waited so long for the price to drop down and finally got it last week. I am playing the longer format of the game and love every bit of it.

I got it for xbox (Disc) at 17 USD last month, Xbox store still says the full price at 49.
I think its definitely worth at 12.5 USD from steam.

Hoping that Big Ant continue to make cricket games and get better every time.

Would welcome some competition from EA too. Competition is good. Big Ant have come so close to making something great, just needed a little polish.

Ebay has the PS4 version for $17usd, and it is just $12.50 usd during winter steam sale. I've heard the PC version didn't get the patch that includes gameplay sliders? That seems like a pretty big thing to be missing. Is it better to get the PS4 version or does PC have better mods and playability?

Actually you are glad to know that PC version didn't get the patch because it make it horrible to play , PC version is far better than the PS4 version (Owned both but now sold PS4 version)
