can a good grafix card hewlp to improve gameplay

hi

i got a geforce fx 5200 grafix card from a friend and then started to play the cricket 2005.one thing i noticed that now the players donot misfield. when i was playing with the built in 64 mb vga card, almost 95% times the ball goes through the fielder's hands.i have played about 20 overs with the new grafix card....is it possible that new grafix card has improved gameplay...a bit of unacceptable theory but is it possible ????????????????

No a graphics card just improves the graphics and the fps rate..
It cannot change the actual game
