Here are my new computers System Specs

- Intel PIV 3.0GHz Dual Core Processor
- Intel Graphics Onboard
- 512MB DDRII RAM
- 300W PSU
Intel 945 Chipset Mainboard

Reckon I would be able to play games like GTA: San Andreas with these settings? Or Pro Evo 6?

Your other settings are good but I doubt you will be able to run San Andreas on it(GFX Card). visit http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest select GTA San Andreas from the drop down list and see will you be able to run it or not.

Get a decent graphics card as well if you are intending to play any kind of games . And please don't be so harsh on a dual core processor and give it at least 1 GB RAM to play with.

I really doubt if there exists a Pentium 4 Dual core processor lol.

i can assure you can play GTA SA on those specs, but i doubt about pro evo ( I think you can, but at minimal settings ) . So better get a graphics card, i use a graphics card with 512 MB RAM too. If you're not very hard on budget then get a 1 gb ram too.

I suppose this would be an example of a decent computer with the least considerable graphics card! :p

I have almost the same computer as you Jordan, and I am able to run Pro Evo Soccer 6 demo quite well on it (besides the occasional stuuter), but to be honest, I have had this computer for only about 8 months, and I am getting frustrated with it with each passing day.

Wattya mean "harsh"? Am I damaging it or something?

Awesome, Im glad I can play GTA San Andreas. I hope Pro Evo works, but I won't be shattered.

The demo? So the full game should work yea yea. Why is it frustrating? And do you experience problems playing C07 on your Computer (seeing its almost the same as mine)?

I'd suggest the same as everyone else has, get a decent graphics card and upgrade the ram to atleast 1 GB. I think you would be able to run GTA SA on your current specs but on low graphical detail.

Hmm, I see. How much does 1 Gig of Ram cost? And how much/hard is it to install? And what does a decent graphics card cost and is it hard or how much is it to get installed? And please don't just say, look on eBay.

The price of the graphics card depends which one you choose which depends upon your budget.
Its easy to install both, open your case and insert them into their respective slots.

I think you've got your pc already havent you ? In that case you would just need to buy another 512 MB memory stick only, and run it in dual channel mode. But remember you'll need to have the same speed of chip.

For more info regarding this topic, just tell me and i can tell you how to find out your current RAM.

Secondly, a graphics card should set you back by about $100 USD, if you're a casual gamer like me. I would advise going by the 8500GT ATLEAST, if you're into moderate gaming. Anything above it would be the more the better.

Hope this helped.

Oh, simple enough. Reckon under $100 AUS?

Yeah, I have my PC already with 512MB RAM. I just want a card good enough to play GTA games and possibly Pro Evo games thats it.

Btw, this card isnt just capable of GTA SA and Pro evo, but is much much more powerful, can even play games like FEAR and Chaos Theory. Plus it supports directx 10 !
