Just to serve as an example for what Andrew wants in the news section.

Canada has declined to host the proposed one-day series between India and the West Indies in September. Lalit Modi, the BCCI vice-president, has disclosed that the Indian board received confirmation from the Canada Cricket Association (CCA) of their unwillingness to host the series this year.

In keeping with the topic though, I think Canada should have hosted this series.

BCCI in a spot of bother, now. They have an agreement with the WICB, which helped secure the World Cup in 2007. Maybe it'll be postponed and played in the USA again (which would be ideal for me ;))

Only if the USA gets a ground to pass ICC inspection. The only ground that was near was Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and I think that failed on pitch quality. One would think the sensible option would be to work on drop-in-pitch technology, and use a baseball ground.
