Problem: captaincy bug.

sorry cant seem to find a current place for bug reports.

just came across this one regarding captaincy.

Been installed as captain of England test team in career mode. won toss, batted first.

I normally bat at 7 but as captain decided to put myself up the order to number 3.

we lost a wicket and I came in at 3 as planned, played for a bit and then "save and exit" as needed to stop for a while

Came back the next day to my save game and i'm no longer captain.

basically the new line ups show me as number 3 in the batting order but the captaincy has stayed with my original posiiton at number 7. i.e the captaincy has not moved with my new place in the batting order and the player at number 7 (the original number 3) is now captain.

So you gave away your captaincy just like that! pushing oneself up the order is a nice one, but if that means me losing captaincy,,,then I'm not doing it

It only lasts for the one match though, as you can't change orders in general. I think the same happens if you move yourself in or out of the wicket keeper's position.

It's been reported before, but don't recall a Big Ant response.

qq guys, do you guys after being captain get to lift the trophy? In my case even though I am captain, I am always at the side jumping like a lunatic in the trophy cut-scene

I recall lifting the trophy once, then after I a "jumping lunatic" lol, and I don' bother anymore as it is a rotation thing, where the trophy changes hands on each presentation

Jumping Lunatic incident is however true otherwise too. I had been playing the Australian Season as an opening batsmen, we won the tournament and I (surprisingly) was lifting the trophy. I then realized I was one of the best batsman for my team all through the season, may be thats the reason.
