Career Stats

tell me 1 thing
will the stats be saved even if we quit a match in between to resume later?

yes, provided u save ur profile and roster after playing the whole match.

But the roster are the real life stats?
Where do we check the er cricket 2005 stats where we have pld as the batsman so to speak?

there is also a negative point , as the batting avg of the players may decrease if they are not playing well. The same applies to bowling .**my created player avreages 84 (batting) & 21 (bowling) after playing 20 matches**

Yea was just gonna say that stevie :D Thats what crickets all about! Also you cant just view the stats that you've generated by playing the game, they get added to your career stats, but then thats also why some people decide to enter their stats separatley in a spreadsheet.

If the game only showed the stats that we generate by playing, then we would all be moaning that we haven't got proper career stats :)

So the stats in squad management are the real stats and then as we play using we say England we effect their stats?
Thats **** it should be just our own stats.

Its better than having stats that don't update at all (cricket 2004). A system for both would be best.

According to me this system is quite useful for a created player to increase his stats or when bringing a domestic player to the international level to increase his stats It's just like A Cricket managing game's system where the user is affecting the players stats.

Man, there's just no pleasing some people is there? This makes it more real! Whats wrong with that? The stats dont effect anything anyway do they?

Like I said, some people input their stats into excel and work out the averages etc, I have a sheet Ive done myself. There are a couple in these forums if you search.

I think stats updating is more realist, and thats what EA are looking for in a cricket game.
