AB de Villiers, you legend. Phil Hughes failed coming off a hundred in the warmup match but AB just blasted the bowlers around the park finishing with an outstanding 163* off 157 deliveries. Kieran Powell also continued his good form with a half century and Albie Morkel scored a nice 35* off 28 late in the innings, capitalising on Shiv's and AB's good start.
Bowling effort wasn't that great but Albie Morkel bowled really well taking 1/38 off 10 overs and was definately the pick of the bowlers. And haha at RTD being stranded on 99*. And he opened the bowling as well

Gilchrist came in a smacked a century off 84 balls. Vintage stuff. He combined with Hughes for a 125-run opening stand and enabled the other batsmen to simply saunter to the total. Good start!

AT, you have really stuffed up the fixtures. How does it even work, the first 5 games are group matches but then there are no groups for the rest of it. How does that work? And I play Jamaica 3 times in 5 rounds even though we should only be playing each team twice.

The first 5 rounds you have been divided into two groups - uh, you know that each team plays twice (home and away) so we've done that in the first 5 rounds. And you'll play the next 5 rounds like a super 8. when that comes to the next half of the season, you won't play the opposite team twice. I really haven't displayed, but you should have known in that sense. but yea it was confusion
