Caribbean Premier League Season 4 - Trading Window open

Probable Lineup for this season:

1. Brendon McCullum+
2. Sewnarine Chattergoon
3. AB de Villiers*
4. Shiv Chanderpaul
5. Ryan ten Doeschate/Albie Morkel^
6. Travis Dowlin
7. Narsingh Deonarine^
8. Andre Russell^
9. Nathan Hauritz^
10. Rayad Emrit/Sulieman Benn/Daren Powell^
11. James Anderson^

Wow, I have massive depth. Kirk Edwards who has been a major part of our team for the past few seasons not even in the starting lineup, Deonarine could be on the bench with maybe both Morkel and RTD playing and then I'd just play probably 2 of my West Indian bowlers, Benn and Emrit/Powell and not play Hauritz.

btw, why is Umar Gul put down as an all-rounder? I didn't know tailenders were classed as all-rounders in this league. Hauritz and Johnson probably shouldn't be classed all-rounders as well as they are both more bowlers who are handy bats. Same with Broad and Mills.

1. Shane Watson^
2. Hashim Amla
3. Sachin Tendulkar
4. Jonathan Trott
/Omar Philips
5. Runako Morton
6. Brad Haddin (+)
7. Marlon Samuels/Omari Banks^
8. Sherwin Ganga^
9. Gavin Tonge^
10. Devendra Bishoo/Umar Gul^
11. Ravi Rampaul^

My top order looks formidable, four top form batsmen. Also can switch Trott/Amla for Philips and bring in Gul to bolster our bowling attack.

I agree with you, though Bishoo and Ganga were marvelous last season, we're still over-relying on Rampaul to deliver the goods.

I agree, but obviously Hauritz has shown sightly better with the bat and same with Johnson. If they wish to change, I'll do that.

What, so you change Hauritz and Mills to bowlers but leave Gul as an all-rounder. :p

Funny that a guy who has only scored 1 fifty in over 250 career matches and averages less than 15 in all formats is classed as an all-rounder. Yeah, I know it doesn't mean anything but still, I find it weird to think that.

Who cares? I'm not gonna play him before Sherwin in any case.

Morgan or Dilshan for Michael Clarke in the Western Premier League?
One of Aussie Team's favourite players is Clarke, so he's bound to be rated higher than both Morgan and Dilshan with the bat.
I just want one of them because they can be used to keep as a part-time keeper.
And if you trade one of them away, you'll still have two keepers because you also have Horace Miller, and Clarke's bowling is pretty handy on poor pitches.
It looks like a pretty fair deal that will benefit both of us.

Probable lineup for this season:

Alastair Cook/ Shaun Marsh
Marcus Trescothick/ Darren Ganga
Wavell Hinds
Romel Currency
Ryan Hinds
Shakib Al Hasan*
Denesh Ramdin+
Mitchell Johnson/Chris Tremlett
Imran Khan
Pedro Collins
Muttaih Muralitharan
I think I got a pretty balanced team. Cook and Trescothick are a good opening pair and Marsh can replace one of them or Paine can do the same, I expect one from Wavell, Currency and Ryan to fire and if they fail I expect Shakib or Ramdin to fire. And in the lower order I got some power left with Mitchell Johnson occupying the number 8 spot.
And in the bench I got Tremlett, Lewis, Sebastien, who might chip in the side at any time.
