Dr. Naseem Ashraf, Chairman PCB has accepted the responsibility of failure of Pakistani team in WC, and has resigned.
The news came as breaking news on ARY ONE WORLD!

The resignation follows the poor WC, death of Bob and Inzis retirement from ODIs...

and just when i was thinkin it can't get any worse

oh well chairman... he aint a big deal... get someone decent in now who cares about the team and gets us a determined coach hopefully local....

PCB is now at stake , dont know what more worst things goin to happen

for all the pakistanis calling for his head, I have one question, 'Are you happy now?'

finanly we get some good news regarding pakistan cricket! hopefully someone with a good cricketing brain will take over... ive been hearing reports that Imran Khan wants to help the PCB if thats true then that is fantastic

probably are seein how they were chantin things...idiots :mad

well lets just hope that someone decent gets in now...

oh another piece of info...just found out that Woolmer didn't put Imran nazir in the squad and didn't want to but the selection committee made him put imran in...just for people who didn't already know...cos he was terrible n all...

he had an amazing 20 20 just before thats why they took him to S.A and now the WC... well Nazir isnt to blame really he aint done much bad... its our middle order the big 3

As soon as I thought things weren't going to get worse for Pakistan...
What next, Pakistan quitting test cricket?

I don't see the need for major fuss. With the obvious exception of Bob Woolmer passing, the rest (Inzi retiring, Chairman resigning etc) are just the normal fall out of a poor World Cup campaign. It's no big deal really.

Its not new that chairman, coaches, managers, captains resign after poor performance in big tournaments. It happens in every sport.Whats new in that?

He's done exactly what they didnt need, the team and board needed stability and by leaving i fear it will damage them more in the longerterm, as everything is gonna be up in the air for quite a while.
