Post Line-ups Champions League XX - Round 1 - It's time to give the people what they need, not what they want...

Oh hold on! I just saw that case five was meant when ll the three players were overseas. So if one of them is a local, this is what I propose:

1. Local player plays for his home team.
2. The other team gets to choose one out of the two remaining players.
3. The unselected player sits out of the game

:)

@ Fenil - Here.

This is what was decided last CL. :)

That is very bias. Aces are playing two countries' players as locals anyways. I think the one Swirler posted it when I first participated in the CL with my Bears team were apt. I've PMed Benjamin about it. I'm waiting for his say. I don't accept it in any case, even if I'd have got the chance to chose between the players.

It worked fine in the last season and will stay the same. Earlier, that rule wasn't there till I brought it up. And, it isn't biased. You think from your perspective. Think from Auckland's perspective. You say, the 2 players need to sit out while you can play Hauritz. That means Auckland lose all the 3. Whereas this ensures both of you lose out on two players. You get Hauritz while Auckland can play one while the other sits out.

Bottom line, I am not changing any rules to suit anyone's needs. Thanks.

Interesting day from Kallis. Smashing a brilliant century after getting torn apart with the bowl. Bell was sensational too and Morgan played an important cameo.

Failed horribly Watson factor :)

That performance was a bit of a mixed bag. Our bowlers were all really good, but a few of our batsmen look a bit out of form. Sehwag was brutal there, so Sanga will be missing out again in round two.

Same team.

Woo! Southampton! What a run chase. Kallis performing when it counts. Too bad that isn't in the EPL :p

Chanderpaul is too down. I would announce him as the opener. Whatever tactics you have, hope it works.

Okay... Got to feel for Karachi when they take on us. Two of their best players are our locals all we have in Overseas clash is just one player, that too a bowler.

All of the teams that I have a stake on won, so I am happy. For Manicaland replace Hondo by Duffin and play latter at 7 pushing all in the way a spot down.
