Champions League XX - Tournament Records & Season Summary!

Great start. Khan, Gul and Kallis made the breakthroughs for us and really kept them on a leash. Kallis was back in the picture during the chase, keeping the score ticking. Wishing the other batsmen did more.

Chigumbura was a major let down sadly.

Clinical start as was expected of us.
Sidebottom was the pick of the bowlers, thought he bowled his heart out on a dead track.
The openers made heavy contribution as well which was our weak link earlier but no longer.

This is the team we'd like to persist with unless the forced changes come into play.

As expected it was one way traffic for the two big guns.

This is the team we'd like to persist with unless the forced changes come into play.

You persisting with the same team!? I though you had to make a certain number of changes every round. :p

Our bowlers did a very good job.Morne got a couple of wickets and kept pressure while Ten Doeschate and Sarel Burger were also doing the same by bowling economically which made the batsmen play rash strokes to present Snyman and Mommsen who bowled a few overs with good wickets. In the batting, the top 3 couldn't deliver big today but Ten Doeschate, captain Dussey who's been in fine nick and Hafeez batted very well. The Hafeez experiment worked.I knew it could.;).Good victory and we need to keep this up:cheers

Mark Boucher finished things off with a six
as Polokwane started their campaign with a comfortable win

Though this time he didn't have to help his team chase 434 like in the match from where this picture was taken :p

Both my teams got pasted. :( Manicaland should have given a better fight, but it's been two season's that Sehwag's been rubbish for them in the ZPL & he carries that here. Philadelphia's huge names let them down.

Hah nice win their, Gayle's wicket was the key Bennett bowled really well to get us a chaseable score, batting was top class except for Williams all the batsmen contributed.

That was a "Hafeezsome" day. (:p) Played for two teams and was man of the match on both occasions.

Who exactly manages Philadelphia here out of Umair/Dipak? Asking cos I need to accordingly update their stats.
