Changing Resolution

Ive found where to change resoulution in the options.But how do you make it change, I pick the resoultion, click contine and its the same :

when you have changed it save your profile..the graphics on the menu does not change but ingame it does

As long as your profile loads at the start of the game which it should do automatically the res will change in game.
