Display Resolutions Cricket 2005

Hi

Am considering getting the game. The demo only seems to allow for a max resolution (at least for me!) of 1024 x 768, which I think is what the game "thinks" I should run it in for best performance.

But its wrong!

Has anyone found a way to forcibly increase this?

The same "feature" of system detection and then low resolutions was also evident in EA Rugby 2005, however someone made a little patch, an executable to allow higher resolutions and that worked a treat.

Can anyone help, I wanna get the game, but I also want 1280 x 960. Both games seem to be using exactly the same engine, but as I dont have the full game yet, I cant try out the Rugby 2005 utility to see if it works

Yes I did find it, thank you.

I was hunting around for the search function, but you can't access it until you have registered for the forum.

So once I registered, I could search and answer my own question.

Looks like some others were off down the Rugby 2005 line like I was!

Shame I couldnt just search with registering.
