Club tournaments in Cricket 2004

Nevermind dude, I just check your profile and found out that you are only 15 years old.
So whatever I say is not going to get thru your head so i am not wasting my time anymore.
But when you do grow up, you will realize that not all games suck. Hopefully your spelling skills will also improve when you grow up.

I know your nature man.you also qaurelled wid sohail saying he was a p a k i.First see yourself then talk about others.

First of all i was just ****ing around with him. I didn't mean it in any racist way.
Over here in US **** is not a huge racist word, Every country has different language.
Andrew said he would get sacked if used **** in his office, Over here no one gets sacked they get fired.
Shag over in Europe F*ck in US
Bloke in Europle Guy in USA.
I call one of my friends **** and he doesn't care.
Life is different here than in INDIA or England

Geez.... I only wanted to start a debate about club tournaments in Cricket 2004.

And by the way, don't think I hate US sports

Baseball - the second greatest game after cricket (and certianly not violent)
Basketball - a very fast and exciting sport, it can't be violent because its a non-contact sport
American Football - A game where the tatics can be even morec complex than cricket

And I don't think that cricket is a civilised game anymore. Just look at whats gone on in the last few years: match-fixing, over-exuberant appealing, occasional racism, batsmen not walking.

And I do think that the spelling on here could improve. Sometimes you can't tell what people are saying

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this certainly is a cricket forum. However calling all other sports "stupid" without even a plausible and valid reason to back that up and calling others losers for voicing their opinions hardly reflects well on you Insha.

I personally enjoy playing and watching many other sports and that includes soccer and basketball. Insha you're out of line here mate.

I'll leave this thread open for a while more to see if anyone has anything reasonable to say.

Coming back to Andrew's question, the reason this thread was opened I might add, adding the teams and tournaments is not hard at all. Just a matter of tweaking a few values in the source code. Its entirely possible to add them on even 2-3 days before release. And making them wont take all that long. Maybe a week's work tops for the developers. Having said that, I'm sure EA wouldn't bother though. At best expect something like Fifa 2003's Club Championship.

I'd say that the teams were easy to add at any time, but I think the stadiums could be very hard to add, rendering all 18 English county grounds (and thats just the main ones, some counties have up to 4 grounds) would (i Assume) not be easy to do at the last minute.

Anyway, thanks for bringing the topic back to what I started :D

I know I said in Everyone Topic that I wasn't going to post any more messages but I couln't help myself.
I wanted to let you guys know some stuff about Cricket 2004.
I Post and Read Messages in EA Sports South African Forum ( http://www.easports.co.za/forum/forum.asp?ForumID=1 )

If you go to that website and see what EA Sports has posted then you would know what you are going to get in Cricket 2004. For some of your lazy people that don't want to go to that website, I am just going paste what EA has said right here.

Re: Re: Re: i want cricket 2004 From: EA
Guys, thanks for your comments on Cricket. You are not alone in your requests for a great cricket game. You do need to understand that games like FIFA, Madden etc are huge sports in Europe and North America. Both those titles do well over 1 million units a year. Cricket is still a relatively small sport in those two markets and as a result Cricket does not get any where near the development budget it deserves. We're striving to improve the game all the time as the more we sell the more budget we'll get in future. Be assured Cricket 2004 will be way better than 2002. The reason we did not release 2004 pre the World Cup was because we wanted to still improve the game some more and would rather delay it's release than release a game that was not as good as we could get it.

I don't know what you guys think but My hopes for Cricket 2004 been a great game have been destroyed from that post. Less Development Budget (Crap) means that they are not going to spend that much time and money on Cricket 2004 (I hope they do.)

The EA Post also backed/supported my previous posts in which I explained why EA Spends more money on Madden and other so called "stupid" games. Madden sold over 1 Million Copies which proves my point of Madden been the best Sports game out.

And Da3m0n Please Take me out of the Forum team.
I am prett sure we have over 13 people and I am also sure that any of those reserve players will be more than happy to take my spot.

Peace Out Everyone

sorrry vinnet i know it is my fault.About adding more teams can we add them in cricket 2002.I think we need the source code for it.

Astold earlier that cricket 2004 is not going to be great.Tell me the difference between cricket 2000 and cricket 2002.But fifa 2003 really has exelent grapics. And cricket being such a intresting and complex game does not get any importance.I really feel like playing fifa 2003 Though i dont like it this is because the players skin is not ugly they have many other options and there are no bugs And ofcourse there is good commentary unlike the dead commentary of richy benaud.I still say football is not all that good game. Many other games like tennis and golf are good games.I just dont know why david becham is so famous.Cricket players are deservd to be more famous than him.
What i am trying to say is cricket is such a intersting game should be given equal importance as other game have been given.

David Beckham is more famous because football(soccer) is a more popular game than cricket. There's less than 100 members of the ICC, whereas nearly every country on the planet is a member of FIFA. Just look at the amount of nationalities in the English Premier League. Cricket will NEVER be as popular as football in most countries. Some people woh have been talented in both cricket and football at a young age nearly always choose football. Phil Neville of Manchester United is a pretty average player at football, but those who say him play cricket for Lancashire youth teams said he was one of the most naturally gifted batsmen of his age, he even captained England Under 15s.

To play football, you just need a ball, to play cricket you need a lot of equipment. Therefore people from poorer families simply can't afford to play cricket (in most countries). Highlights of the English Premier League are shown in nearly every country. Highlights of the Cricket World Cup weren't even shown on normal TV in England. (it was only on satelite)

This year in England on my standard 5 channels (no cable or satelite) I have already been able to watch the Superbowl (US Football) and I will be able to watch Major League Baseball (with the World Series) and The NHL (with the Stanley Cup) along with several football, rugby league and rugby union matches. I wasn't able to watch the Cricket World Cup, and I can only watch about half a dozen English domestic cricket games and can't watch any of Englands overseas Tests or any of their ODIs (home or away)

Cricket will ALWAYS be less popular because most TV broadcasters do not want to put aside 7 hours of their schedules. They'd rather put aside 2 or 3 hours for sports that have more regualar breaks in them to maximise advertising revenue. Cricket players do not deserve to be more famous than David Beckham simply because the vast majority of the worlds populatio have never even seen a cricket match, but they will almost certainly have seen a football match.

I think cricket is the greatest game in the world, but it will never be as popular as most sports.

Anyway, at least we can be secure in the knowledge that most cricketers have a better dress sense than Beckham :D

The last line is right. And our cricket players dont keep changing hairstyles.
I think cricket is the greatest game in the world, but it will never be as popular as most sports
Andrew nixon said this. Its absuletly right i agree with him but you can make out from this line that cricket is a better game than football.Even i like to play football but i like only to goal keep.In cricket i like to wicket keep as well as bat and also ball.Theres always for fan in cricket.
