Coloured Batting Gloves

Watching the IPL I couldn't help but notice that a number of players wore coloured batting gloves. Thing is they were used quite a bit when they first used coloured gear in ODIs back in the late 70s and well into the 1980s but they they disappeared.

Now they seem to have re-emerged.

a lot of time needs to be spent on those little things you know. Beacause all those gloves are personalized to each player, and getting at least 3 pairs of gloves from each player is a tough maintainance job for the people who take care of that stuff. so overtime they cant be screwed doing it anymore.

I remember Shaun Pollock used to have a pair of Green batting gloves
